About

Hi, my name is Anabel Chinedu, welcome to my blog!

I’m an aspiring software developer and cybersecurity enthusiast, currently in Year 13 studying BTEC ICT and Media along with an EPQ. I’m very passionate about exploring how technology can bring people together and create opportunities for everyone.

What Inspired Me to Start Tech Voices?

I started Tech Voices because I noticed that the tech industry still doesn’t reflect the diversity of the world around us. Meeting my first family friend who worked in tech really opened my eyes to a career path I hadn’t really known much about and didn’t see much representation in. Since then, I’ve wanted to use my platform to highlight the incredible contributions of women and ethnic minorities in technology and to inspire others who might not yet see themselves in this field.

What can you expect?

On Tech Voices, you’ll find stories, insights and opportunities that celebrate diversity in technology. I share profiles of inspiring women and ethnic minorities in the industry, highlight organisations working to make tech inclusive, and post about useful programmes, apprenticeships, and events that help young people to start careers in the tech industry.

My goal is to make Tech Voices a space that celebrates inclusion and encourages more people, regardless of their background, to explore the world of technology. Whether you’re already working in tech, just starting out, or curious about where to begin, I hope these stories motivate you to keep learning and innovating.
